Goal of the event:
The main goal of our event was to raise awareness for what it’s like to live with visual impairments. We would like to try how are we feel like a blind person.
Short description of the event:
We, as ESN SAMSUN met in our office. Then we just took an item to close our eyes like a scarf and we were trying to not see anything. Then, the participants closed eyes with the scarfs and we gave an object to them. Our challenge's rules are here: 1) You can not open your scarf . 2) You can touch, smell the object . 3) Winner will be the first person to know the object's name. Participants were trying to guess what was the object. They touched, smelt the objects and made a guess. But it was so hard for them, it did not work exactly, participants were not succeed at them predictions . Mostly , they failed. The participants empathize with blind people during Sightless Guess Challenge event .
