Goal of the event:
Our participants had to create beautiful art pieces without using their hands! We wanted them to use their creativity on how to overcome this obstacle and rais the awarenes by making them think about a problem they would otherwise never encounter.
Short description of the event:
To comply with our goal of raising awareness for the Exchangeability Program we gave everyone the obstacle of painting without using their hands! We wanted to encourage everyone to think about a problem you normally don’t encounter in your dailie life, like: “How would you draw a painting without hands?” Would you use your mouth? Maybe your feet? Everyone had the chance to find their own answer to this obstacle.
Every Participant was provided with paint, paper and drawing utensils. We booked a room on campus and together after explaining what ExchangeAbility is about, we explored the possibilities together by letting our creativity flow freely!
How did your event go?:
The Event definitely went well! We took the chance to post event pictures online, again explaining the evetns purpose.
Our Participants liked it. They liked how you never ask yourself this question and how fun it can be to overcome this problem.
Merely the Participants number could be higher. We were not able to motivate too many people to participate.
