Description
Aim of the event:
  • Promote mobility
  • Raise Awareness
  • Make ESN Accessible
Goal of the event:
We did this event because we wanted to show and raise awareness to the Erasmus that people with disabilities can also go to another country and take profit of our activities and enjoy them because ESN is an accessible and inclusive organization.
Short description of the event:
We did a presentation of the project ExchangeAbility. We learnt a little bit of Sign Language to do a presentation and with an alphabet they had to introduce themselves, and the others had to guess their names.
Another game was that they had to guess what they were touching blindfolded, like teddies, home items... The lider of the group had to write (blindfolded also) what they thought it was.
The last game was like a "Pictionary", where the event coordinator said an object (secretly) to draw and one Erasmus had to draw (if they where right-handed) with the left hand and the rest of the group had to guess what it was.
The group that wins more points per game, wins a prize.
How did your event go?:
The Erasmus were participating a lot, but I think that this event must be done at the beggining of September because after a month they already know each other and they're not interested in a Speed Meeting.
We could have done also something like a Blind Dinner mixed with these games so they could have had more fun.
