Goal of the event:
was to make sure people knew about international day of awareness of diabetes. Ensure that they are well aware of such condition and where they can find help , if they have any quires.
Short description of the event:
the World Diabetes Day 2017 campaign will promote the importance of affordable and equitable access to the essential diabetes medicines and technologies, self-management education.Today is world diabetes days. Us spreading the awareness is a gateway to our right to a healthy future. This event was to raise awareness of diabetes as 3rd of December is declared as the international day of diabetes. As this is a medical university it id important for us to know and appreciate these awareness days. We made a poster where it said world diabetes day and we had it put up in the student accommodation and the library at the university. where people came and made there mark by signing the poster. to show that they are well aware of this condition. .
How did your event go?:
it was amazing to see turn up of people to sign the poster. They were grateful that such awareness events are done in the university. To improve more poster could have been put around the university.
