Yesilkoy Special Education Vocaional Training Center Visit

Fırst of all we made an arrangment with the place where we are gonna conduct the activity to get a permission. After that we went to school to conduct our activity. Mr Selcuk who is the teacher of the school accompanied us during the activity. Firstly;we got some information about the schools' system. First step is all student are directed by the guidance teacher and students who have required documents are registered. Secondly; all students are devided according to their skills.When we were at school, firstly we went to handicrafts section to see what students had done. The aim of this section is improving students' handicraft skills. And then we went to music class. Here , students listen to music and get relaxed. We went to textile weaving class. Students make bags, rags and pillowcases in there. We went to office management and computer class and we saw that students get vocational training in there. After we went to art class and we saw students paintings. All of them were so successful. We went to food and beverage class. We observed that how students learnt to cook and present their cook. We went to applicaition house and hand mader class. Students do wood painting and jewelry design here. After there we went to physical education class. here was different than other schools. There were all sport equipments. That was like gym. Last place was hairdressing class. Students learn how to make hair here.In the break time we had a chance to meet some of students at school and we took photos. Anıl who is otistic student was the most interesting student in there. Anıls' special skill is that he nevr forgets whatever he sees. Every minutes we had at school was really good. All students and teachers were kind to us. At the end of the activity we showed them our appriciate and had a deal to see each other in next projects.
